Diamond De Luxe Hotel SPA

Our New Year holiday at Diamond De Luxe Hotel & Spa was the best we’ve had. It’s a modern hotel built in 2020, with convenient outlets for guests. Our room was spotless, and the staff were kind and helpful. The food was the best we’ve ever had, with a huge variety and consistently great quality. We booked ultra all inclusive and got even more than we expected. There’s a private beach with plenty of free sun loungers, plus a great barbecue beach bar. Thanks so much to all the hotel staff and senior management for such a wonderful vacation. We’ll visit again soon.

The new hotel is in excellent condition, with clean, spacious rooms, a good beachfront location, and friendly staff. There was a varied food selection, though the pool water was very cold in October. I’d definitely recommend the photo team and optician, you won’t be disappointed. A very good vacation overall.

The hotel and its large rooms are clean and well looked after, and the pool is nice and clean too. The sandy beach is close by and gets cleaned from time to time. But the daily room cleaning and replenishment of the room bar sometimes didn’t happen at all. The food was good, though the waiters’ insistence about covers and serving meals the way they thought best was very annoying. The bars have set menus and hours, but the staff there spoke no English, which made ordering difficult. The animators were the worst part, putting us and the children off activities with how unprofessional they were. One guy playing games with the kids was a nightmare. The pool aerobics instructor was the only one worth mentioning; the rest were like something out of a Hitchcock horror film.

The rooms were wow, really clean! The service was just okay, though. Reception and restaurant staff could be friendlier and more thoughtful in how they respond. A lot of times when we went to the restaurant to ask for a drink, they didn’t let us finish before saying okay and walking away. The reception staff also seemed bothered whenever we needed information. It’s their job, and a friendlier attitude would make a difference. The customer relations man was easily five stars on his own, always smiling and making us feel welcome. The food was good, but the desserts in the patisserie need work because they all tasted the same. The location is right on the beach and we knew it was in the middle of nowhere when we chose it, since we just wanted to stay at the resort. Still, after three days or more, it can get VERY boring. There are pools and excursions, and it’s very child-friendly. It’s a good place to relax, all in all. Would I return? I’m still thinking about it.... 🫢
