We had a pleasant stay at Marine Family Hotel in June 2025, though some things were inconvenient. There aren’t many attractions nearby, and the animation program felt limited, especially for guests who don’t speak Russian. Most activities, including darts, dancing, games and music, were in Russian, with only occasional short parts in English. There were daily evening shows, but getting to the stage meant going through an underground tunnel. The floors were often being cleaned in the evening, and cleaning water ran into the tunnel, so it was easy to get your shoes wet. I’d read a lot of complaints beforehand about dirt, struggling staff and poorly maintained rooms, which made me concerned. In our case, the room was tidy, clean and smelled fresh, with no cleanliness issues. Wi-Fi was another problem: our offer said it would be available in every room, but it was actually paid. Free Wi-Fi was only in the often-crowded lobby. I’d rate the hotel a strong 3 out of 5.

The entertainment kept us happy throughout our stay. The shows and activities were amazing, and the animation team did a fantastic job!

The beach was pleasant, though the sea stayed rough for most of our four days and felt unsafe for swimming on a couple of them. The hotel is quite cut off, with nowhere nearby to walk to, so you need a car to go out. We liked the clean property, friendly staff, and broad food and drink selection, especially the beach restaurant. The main dining room got packed at dinner and finding a table was often difficult. Our room also wasn't ready when we arrived at 2 pm, the stated check-in time. With reception so busy, we waited until 5 pm. Evening entertainment was just okay. There were positives, but I wouldn't come back given the check-in delay, crowded meals, and isolated setting.

The shows, disco, dance activities and other entertainment were fantastic, and so were the food and service. My phone barely got a signal, probably because of the location, though that isn't really the hotel's fault. I definitely recommend it. Great value for the money.
