Primasol Hane Garden Hotel

We were treated like royalty at Calimera, and I had a great stay. The location is ideal, very close to the sea, with a bus to the beach every five minutes for anyone with sore legs or who doesn’t like walking. The pool was just as warm as the sea, clean, and had drinks brought over by staff. There were snacks at the bar all afternoon. After a week, I reckon I gained 15 kilos 😆 Food was served almost every hour, with so much variety there should be something for everyone. If you can’t find anything you like, maybe you’re just too picky! :) The rooms were clean and tidied daily, and the staff were lovely, always ready to help with a smile. Friendly cats wandered around the grounds, never begging for food but often there to greet us. There were plenty of activities and events too, so you could relax or keep busy. I’ll definitely be back, really recommend it!

We had a great week here as a family in February. The location is spot on, close to supermarkets, bazaars, shopping centres, and the beach. Our five-person bedroom was quite small for all of us, and the air conditioning didn’t work. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided each day. The cleaning ladies were super, and the waiters and bartenders were lovely, always joking and checking that we were okay. The food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was lovely, with a bit of variety, and the pool bar pizza was amazing, the best ever. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna at the spa. Hamam with a massage was very good value and a great experience, although afterwards they kept asking if we wanted more treatments for extra money, which got annoying. I wasn’t happy with Mr. Muzzaffer’s attitude when we tried to book the a la carte restaurant as part of our week. He told us there was no room, but we went down anyway and it was 95% empty. That’s not a good look when the restaurant was part of what we’d paid for. The animation could also be better. I understand most guests are German, but dance nights should include everyone. After we asked for more inclusive music, they played it, and it turned into an amazing night with nearly everyone dancing.

The location made it easy to get to the beach and bazaar, and the hotel felt family-friendly. Staff were lovely, especially the cleaners, who were always smiling. The waiters kept joking with us and really helped make the stay enjoyable, because the entertainment was pretty dull. Compared with other hotels, there wasn't much music or activity, and things were already quiet at Hane Garden by 11 pm. Lunch and dinner were good, though breakfast was a little weaker. I would've liked more pasta and seafood. The pool loungers were always taken, so we had to get up early to claim some. Honestly, that was annoying.

For a very reasonable price, this was more than adequate. Hane Garden was a replacement after our original hotel closed, and being closer to the beach worked out well. The place was very clean, our room was good, and the balcony caught plenty of sun despite the unusually cold weather. There was lots of food and choice, with a particularly good salad bar. Some dishes ran out unless you got there early, lol. Staff attitudes varied, but most were friendly.
