There are several cute cats around the grounds, and the food buffet looks impressive, though the taste is only average. The hotel has a large pool, some slides, a gelato shop, a barber, and a small convenience store. The slides didn't seem to be open during my visit. Food was provided for all three meals, but alcohol wasn't included. The beaches are nearby. I was in Side for an event in Manavgat, and my accommodation was arranged for me, so I hadn't chosen this hotel. I stayed at the Side Yesiloz Hotel for six nights in October 2025. The rooms were disgusting, service was poor, though a few workers helped, and the location wasn't great. The rooms are small, worn, and rundown, and they looked filthy with age. There was a disgusting thing on the side of my bathroom door. I guessed it might be the squashed remains of a fairly large dead bug, or perhaps a strange lump of hair and gum. I thought I saw a leg. Each day I hoped the cleaners would notice it, but they never did. My colleagues joked that they probably weren't paid enough to clean something so disgusting. Internet cost extra, as did using the room safe. Internet prices depended on whether you needed it for 1, 2, 3, or 7 days, around 3-10 euros, and that charge was per device. With a laptop, tablet, and phone, I used my phone's mobile hotspot and data plan instead, which was much cheaper. I think the safe cost about 3 euros a day. Antalya and the hotel didn't seem equipped for heavy rain. It rained hard while I was there, which locals said was very unusual. Some colleagues had water flood their balconies and leak into their rooms. They advised checking that the balcony drain isn't blocked by leaves. The balcony doors didn't have an obvious lock, but I later learned the handle locks the door when turned downward. That's important because it would be fairly easy to get from one balcony to another on the same level. The cleaners once left my balcony door unlocked, so someone could have easily entered my room that way. I arrived in the late morning, before the 2pm check-in. Staff put my bags in a storage room that was poorly monitored and had no guard. I went to get things from my bags several times without anyone supervising, so anyone could have taken someone else's luggage. Most staff didn't speak English. A few women, apparently Russian, could communicate reasonably well. One bartender was friendly, spoke English, and is waving in the bar photo. There is an elevator in the main building, but none in the side buildings, including mine. Noise was another problem: loud music from the stage at night, then loud TV sound, and crowing roosters every morning. There was an empty-looking lot beside my building where more than a dozen chickens were kept. The roosters didn't just crow once in the morning. They went on constantly, every hour or even more often. I wrote separately about the food, the location and nearby sights, and the cats in the Noteworthy Details section.

The music around the pool and dining areas was so loud it was hard to have a normal conversation with family or friends. Staff also argued openly in front of guests, which felt unprofessional, and the room change they promised never happened. Our room smelled a little moldy and wasn't properly clean, with strands of hair still visible in several spots. Having to pay for Wi-Fi in 2025 is completely unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend the place. It might be tolerable if you only need somewhere to sleep, though even that feels like a stretch. I would have rated it 2/5, but taken together, these problems make it no more than 1/5.

The people working here made our family holiday especially memorable. Iryna at reception was kind, friendly, and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Ilknur was attentive and kind at meals. At the bar, Adam, Emil, Yusuf, and especially Ibrahim greeted us with smiles and made fantastic drinks. Their warmth and professionalism really stood out. My husband, daughter, and I had a wonderful stay at Yesiloz Hotel in Side, Turkey. The atmosphere was cozy, the rooms were clean, and the surroundings were beautiful, just right for relaxing together. I'd happily recommend it to families visiting Side, and we'd love to return.

I was impressed by the waiters. They stayed focused on their work and were consistently kind. I also enjoyed the food and thought the evening entertainment was fine. The private beach was a plus, just a five-minute bus ride from the hotel. The reception staff were impolite, though, and some rooms were in awful condition, with mold growing on the walls. We managed to change rooms, but it shouldn't have to work that way. I felt the receptionists didn't respect Polish guests, even though, as I understand it, around 40% of the guests are from Poland. They should address these problems, especially the room standards and reception service.

Saturday brings a huge market right next to the hotel, where you can bargain for souvenirs and things for home at good prices. There are also historic sites and wonderful buildings to see, and shops selling quality goods. The hotel entertainer can help you get out and avoid being bored. It's a warm place with friendly people, good food, and lots of sweets. You can also have a Turkish bath or massage and come away feeling refreshed. They really make you feel pampered.
