Warm hospitality and a calm atmosphere made this stay memorable. The boutique hotel has beautifully preserved architecture and a distinctive historic feel. A lovely hidden spot if you want to stay surrounded by history.

We only had one night because of time constraints, but we were very happy with our choice. My mother has knee problems, and the warm, welcoming family gave her more support than we did. I’m especially grateful for that. The location is lovely, and our room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. We left very early, so we couldn’t try breakfast, though the photos in the reviews make it look varied, clean, and filling. Thank you again to Mr. Muhammet, his sister, and their father for looking after us. My family and I will gladly recommend Ali Paşa Konağı to friends visiting Mardin. Breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared, served quickly as a spread with a view, and the staff were friendly. The owners clearly care about what they do. They checked in often, helped us find our way around Mardin’s streets, introduced nearby places, and shared tips on food, drinks, and sightseeing. The service felt like genuine care, not just somewhere to sleep. The stone room felt a little cramped and unfamiliar to me, but I was glad to see there were rooms with windows, and I’d stay again. Although the hotel is below the Grand Mosque, everything is walkable. It’s peaceful and quiet while still close to the tourist sights. I wholeheartedly recommend it. 🌻

We stayed at Ali Pasha Mansion on May 18-19 and came away very satisfied. It’s a carefully restored mansion that shows off Mardin’s distinctive stone architecture while still offering modern comforts. Since it’s family-run, the attentive, friendly staff made us feel right at home. I’d gladly recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful stay and a taste of Mardin’s history.
