MermerBeach Hotel

We live on the island and used to spend time here almost every day with our big group of friends, supporting the place. But tonight we were spoken to rudely because our children were noisy, and the warning was aimed at the children instead of us adults. The food wasn't that good either: portions were usually small and prices were high. We won't go back. Families with kids should know what to expect.

For anyone heading to Marmara Island, this would be my first pick. It’s a good place for a quiet, relaxing break, with clean rooms, a nice sea, a restaurant, and attentive care. The owner, Mr. Hüsnü, is especially respectable. Have a great holiday.

We’re still staying here, and the holiday has been lovely and peaceful so far. The beach is nice and right by the hotel, and the location is central, about a 15-minute walk from the center. The owners are extremely friendly and warm, and the hotel is very clean. Breakfast is delicious with lots of choice. I’m here with my husband and young child, and would definitely recommend it to families with children. A small swing and slide would suit the place, just a modest idea. We’ve been very happy and will certainly come back. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel on Marmara Island, especially families with kids.

We stayed with our 7-month-old baby, and it was a calm, peaceful place to unwind, with a child-friendly feel. Ms. Nurcihan and Mr. Hüsnü were warm, helpful, and hospitable, just like the rest of the staff. The rooms, cleanliness, breakfast, restaurant, and sea were all wonderful. We left very happy.
