Akdeniz Apart Hotel

The place was clean and affordable, with friendly, welcoming staff. It was close enough to walk to the city center and restaurants, and fine for a one-night base to explore the center. The building is old and needs renovation, especially the messy yard, where there were broken tiles and a dirty pool. Carrying luggage up the difficult stairs was a struggle even for one person. The walls are so thin you can hear neighbors whispering or walking, and there’s an unpleasant damp smell throughout the building.

The shower had no hot water, and the bathroom was tiny. The rooms were noisy, internet connection was very poor, and there’s no elevator. For how expensive it was, it wasn’t worth the price. I hope management looks into the pricing. The woman at reception had a sour expression and seemed to tease or make fun of people. The whole stay was a disaster, the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Cheap turned out to mean horrible here. The place was dark, cleaning was poor, nobody spoke English, and the bath water never got hot. We were meant to leave at noon, but they were already pushing us out at 11:30. Do not stay here. The reply is still a complete lie, which says a lot about her character. Go clean the rooms instead of lying to customers. (07/02/2024)

I was wary after reading the negative reviews, but I’m glad we booked. The staff were all friendly, the rooms clean, the area quiet, the beds comfortable, and the water was always hot. Our only issue was that the AC didn’t work, but it wasn’t hot or cold, so we didn’t mind. We’ll definitely come back.
