The pool and location are brilliant, and the free ride to the beach is perfect. Some of the staff were great, but the rest honestly seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Beyond that, I wouldn’t bother. This was my 20th holiday, my fourth time in Turkey and second in Marmaris, and easily the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Cups weren’t washed properly, there were flies everywhere, and the food was terrible. A staff member even gave customers fake money. It’s three stars at most. You have to pay for bottled water, the football pitch is like a war zone, and the food is like war rations. I wish I’d spent my money elsewhere.

The staff made us feel like family, and I can’t thank them enough for looking after us. I was visiting friends here, and Archie, Elvis and everyone else made us so welcome. The entertainment was amazing and the pool is a great size, with an area for kids. When wild boar had come down from the forests, they even gave us a lift back to our miserable hotel, London Blue, where everyone seemed miserable. We got hugs and goodbyes when we left, which felt very different from where we were staying.

The pool is big, clear, clean and not crowded, with plenty of loungers, and the snooker table gets a lot of use. We stayed a week and had been before, so knew what to expect. It’s cheap and cheerful, with a peaceful atmosphere and no hassle. Archie, Elvis, the housekeeper’s children helping out, and her husband the handyman all help make it feel very hospitable. The fast food is fresh, clean, good and cheap, with plenty of choices and individual dishes cooked from the menu. If something goes wrong, they fix it. Our room was cleaned twice, and the laundry was changed.

We had such a good holiday with our friends, staying for two weeks. It’s not a five star apartment, but you’re not paying for one. There’s a shower and a place to sleep, then you’re back out having another laugh. Archi and topman were brilliant, and we laughed every day. The pool made it even better. I spent some time here with my family. Prices were affordable, the staff were very friendly, and the pool was good for small children. If you need Wi-Fi, ask for a room nearer the bar.
