During our stay at Palmea Hotel, we found dirt and grime around the hotel, and the room became unhygienic because our assigned cleaner didn't properly clean it. We had no supplies to keep things clean ourselves. The cleaner would spend just three minutes in the room; after I reminded reception she'd missed two days despite our note, she only then made a show of cleaning. Management was rude and unhelpful, and gave us false information and excuses about the service. Staff also seemed unwilling to help unless guests were Russian or white, and our needs were often ignored. Several expensive things went missing after the cleaner came in to take out rubbish, including pharmacy products we'd bought as gifts. That breach of trust was deeply upsetting. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I stayed here some time ago and found the rooms very basic and the food absolutely terrible. The staff treated me differently because of my brown skin. I also had a dispute with the manager over lunch, and he tried to raise his hands against a female member of my family. I can't urge people strongly enough to avoid this place.

The pool was lovely and every member of staff was great, which helped make the stay pleasant. The room itself was great too, though the hotel could've been cleaner. It's a basic place that did what we needed. We didn't care for the food and ate out most nights, so next time we'll leave off the all-inclusive plan. I think my mum fell for the manager, so she'll definitely be back!

The food was repetitive and often undercooked, with no drinks menu or attractions. The pool loungers were never cleaned and their covers were disgusting. At reception, the first thing you see is a mess, and the room bathroom was no better. The cleaning lady spent about three minutes in the room and called that a clean. After we left a note and told reception she'd not come for two days, she finally bothered to "clean" it. The hotel was dirty all around. I wouldn't even give it one star. Avoid it.

The food was Turkish, and as a vegetarian I could always find something to eat. I was nervous about coming because of the reviews, but ended up pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, there are two pools, and I loved the shower, though it can get slippery when wet. It's a basic hotel, but I had no complaints. A short walk gets you to the beach and the lively bars and pubs, and we took a bus down to the marina.
