Villa Akar

The villa’s in a great location, but I wouldn’t go back. It was a terrible experience for cleanliness and comfort, and I didn’t even think to take photos 😞. The garden was badly neglected, with rubbish and weeds everywhere. Inside, the house was dirty and smelled damp. The sheets and towels were in poor condition, and I spent half a day cleaning the kitchen. The plates and glasses were dirty, and there were someone else’s dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived. The built-in appliances worked fine, but cupboards were full of random items with unknown owners, leaving me nowhere to put my clothes. There were cobwebs on the doors and windows. It’s a summer house, but none of the windows had mosquito nets, so you couldn’t open them. The veranda chair cushions were all dirty and there weren’t enough of them. The swing cushion was dirty too.
