The bedding was filthy. The bed, pillows, sheets, and blankets clearly hadn’t been washed. The room’s air conditioning also didn’t work. When I told management, they said it had worked before and asked me to try again. On top of that, the whole house stank of cigarette smoke. We left all the doors and windows open for two days, but the smell still lingered everywhere. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if cigarette smoke bothers you.

I only ended up here because I urgently needed somewhere to stay. I’d been at Ilkay Apartments, where they also worked, and was directed here. I was offered a discount, but the regular price was supposedly 1500₺. When I called anonymously to ask, they quoted me 1300₺. They wouldn’t use the POS machine and asked me to transfer the money to an IBAN, or pay cash, apparently to avoid taxes. I can’t say how ethical that is, so keep it in mind when preparing to pay. For one person, the price was 1300₺, and I thought it was ridiculous that both apartments cost the same when they were so different in comfort. At first I was put in the 1+0 room shown in the photo because I’d arrived unexpectedly and no other apartments were free. It was on the roof, with a door across from it that opened onto the roof, and there was no door on the roof itself. Nothing happened, but I was alone and scared to sleep there that night. Later they moved me to a 1+1 apartment, which had better conditions and a better layout, though I still found the hygiene poor. The kitchenware was in bad shape, the towels had mascara stains, and I couldn’t tell how clean anything was. There was writing on the mirror. In the Mersin heat, the bedroom AC only blew lukewarm air, while the living room unit couldn’t detect its remote. If I hadn’t been in a hurry to find a place, I wouldn’t have stayed. I’m sure I could find better accommodation, and I wouldn’t choose this place again. 👎🏻
