Tuna Otel Rezidans

Nothing bothered me during the stay. It’s a peaceful, relaxing place, and it seems suitable for families. The hotel is new and, to my mind, one of the best in Muğla province. The rooms are large, with new equipment and fittings throughout. I think the price offers good value.

The room’s air conditioning wasn’t working, though luckily the weather wasn’t hot. The price wasn’t cheap either. The walk-in rate was 4,500 Turkish lira.

The location felt too far out, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have to. The room’s mini-fridge didn’t work; they brought us water, but we couldn’t chill it and had to drink it warm. I was also uncomfortable with the carpet, since everyone walked on it in their shoes. The toilet had a few soaps, shampoos, towels and toilet paper, but no toilet brush or cleaning supplies, even though I wanted to clean it myself. The food was tasteless. I tried to fill up on the ten kinds of salads and appetizers, but there was so much olive oil that I felt sick. A very long hair was in the food, which didn’t seem hygienic. At breakfast on day two, they reheated the previous day’s bagels and left half-finished juices out. They didn’t serve us water either, so we had to use the dispenser. I came with a tour group and stayed for two days, and overall it was very bad.

The breakfast was well presented and quite good, and the reception and room-cleaning staff were friendly and attentive. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Muğla. You’ll be satisfied.
