We loved how quiet the spot was while still being close to everything in Goreme, which is lovely but pretty touristy. We had a rental car, though tours can pick you up if you don't have transport. The hotel is built into caves and around the cones, giving it a quaint, picturesque feel, and it's decorated with a lot of taste. The rooms made choosing so hard that we stayed one night in one and two nights in another. Konak Saliche has a stone bath tucked into a grotto, while Cemal Sureya has an upstairs level with a jacuzzi, great for unwinding after a day out. Hatice and Samet made us feel very welcome. Breakfast on the covered rooftop terrace was lovely and generous. You can order takeaway for dinner, too, and they'll serve it on plates. If I return to Cappadocia, I'd stay here again, maybe in a different room :-))

The owner texted me after I left my AirPod pros behind, which says a lot about their honesty and service. It's a lovely family-run place, and we enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and felt like a proper cave experience. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious.

Hatice and Yusuf helped us plan routes to the must-see places, restaurants, and shops, and arranged a very affordable private guide with transportation. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. We hadn't visited Cappadocia in over ten years and weren't sure where to go or how to get around, so their help made our two-night stay with my sister in the first week of November an unforgettable mini break. Saliche is clean, cozy, comfortable, and conveniently located, with stylish rooms full of character. Each room is named after a famous Turkish poet or author, a creative and lovely tribute to Turkish literature. The area felt especially peaceful because of its magnetic fields. After a comfortable night's sleep, we had a delicious Turkish breakfast with homemade baked goods on the cozy terrace by the wood stove. Hatice, Yusuf, and their lovely staff member Sibel went above and beyond to help us feel at home and have a great vacation. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. This is definitely my go-to hotel for another visit to the area, and I can't wait to come back!
