Alice inn Capadocia

We had a room with a balcony, and the view of the sunrise and balloons was incredible. Breakfast was included and was great. Tural was an amazing host, always happy to help us organize activities and an airport transfer. The hotel dog is very cute too. I can't recommend staying here enough.

The staff were awesome, and we loved the breakfast. But the facilities don't seem well cared for, and the room quality wasn't up to a good standard for me. There was no cabinet or anything similar to hang clothes, no spare roll of toilet paper, and the room didn't feel clean at all. It was very humid inside and smelled like a toilet. The balcony wasn't tiny, but it looked run down. Future guests should know about these issues. I booked based on the good reviews, but I'm afraid it didn't work out for me. I wouldn't recommend it or go back. I'd rather pay a bit more for a good experience.

The breakfasts were top quality, with fresh fruit, local breads, eggs, flatbreads, jams, and chutneys. You won't be left wanting. Tural, the manager, was always available with advice and made all the guests feel welcome. The rooms were well soundproofed, though a little small. With so much to do in the area, you won't spend much time in them. We stayed three days. There's no dedicated car park, but the hotel is on a quiet street and we had no trouble finding nearby parking. It's a great hotel in a perfect location, with amazing views of Göreme and the entire Cappadocia National Park. I'd highly recommend it for a stay in cappadocia.

Uçhisar is a nice base in its own right, and Uçhisar Castle is right behind the hotel. Alice in Cappadocia gave us a lovely cave-room stay, without Göreme prices, while still being just a short taxi ride from Göreme and the things to do there. Mr. Tural was a big help. He arranged a rental car and shared the information we needed to get around. Breakfast came fresh and warm as soon as we sat down. The place is cozy, the views are beautiful, and the manager really looks after you. I’d recommend it for a Cappadocia visit.
