Hayal Tadinda

We came back with our three children and spent 30 days on this wonderful olive farm. This time we stayed in the King Suite yurt, which had lots of room for our family of five. We loved watching the sunrises and sunsets. There was plenty of hot water, and fresh towels and bed linen whenever we needed them. The yurt was always very clean, and they did our laundry for a very affordable price. We'd first stopped at Hayal Tadinda while passing through on the way to Pammukale. My wife and I fell for the peaceful olive farm and decided to finish the rest of our time in Turkey there. The accommodations were fantastic, and the traditional Turkish breakfast each morning was a treat: fresh green and black olives from the farm, homemade jams, bakery-fresh bread and cheeses, farm eggs, and breakfast potatoes made to order. Dinner was great too. We tried lots of traditional Turkish dishes, including chicken kabobs, dolmas, steak, stuffed eggplant, a wonderful pumpkin dish, vegan meatballs, and Turkish ravioli, plus plenty more. We loved the kunefe and baklava. My wife even learned to make dolmas, kunefe, and fresh jams. We also enjoyed Birgi, with its shopping, a lovely Cafe, and a unique shop selling organic Turkish delights and dried fruits. Umut and Seda were wonderful hosts and were excited to point us toward the best places to eat and shop. We left our hearts in Turkey and can't wait to return to Hayal Tadinda!

The family running the place were friendly and helpful, and it's a quiet, peaceful spot to relax near the historic village of Birgi. Kids can safely feed and pet the horse, chickens, and bunny, too. The eggs from their hen house are fresh and delicious, and they also offer a yummy homemade breakfast. It's not quite a proper campground yet. There are no shower or kitchen facilities, and even getting electricity to the tent is an issue. I think the owners can sort out what's missing and make this land a great place.

A lovely family owns this cozy spot, and they have an adorable daughter. It was a fascinating stay surrounded by nature, and a nice place for hiking, running, or biking. Special thanks for the excellent pasta!

We couldn't get a motokaravan in easily, and once inside there was nowhere suitable to park. The guy who spoke with us was nice, at least. We turned around and left. In their response, the place says people should check before arriving, but my wife had already called them about it. Be aware, this is a poor spot for any kind of karavan, and impossible for a cekme karavan of any size.
