Holiday Garden Resort

The food was a letdown. For all eight days, the same dishes kept coming back, and there were no seafood options. I’m not fussy, but that was disappointing. The only place with some variety was the à la carte restaurant. Plates were often dirty, and finding a clean one took effort. The all-inclusive label felt misleading because many basic things weren’t included. Wi-Fi cost extra. Pool water and the beach area were dirty, and some sunbeds were broken. The beds were worn out, too. In the rooms there were no slippers or bathrobes, and towels were free only once. After that, guests were expected to use the same towel all week unless they paid extra. That’s unacceptable for a hotel claiming five stars. Cleanliness and hygiene were poor overall. This didn’t come close to a five-star stay, or even a low four-star one. I won’t return or recommend it.

The website promised free Wi-Fi, but there was no Wi-Fi during my stay. A lot of things also didn’t match what was advertised. The towels weren’t properly clean, and cleanliness in general was poor. Some staff made me uncomfortable, especially waiters who seemed more interested in flirting than doing their jobs. I left very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this place.

The spa was the one good part, and Mami was absolutely fantastic. The rest of this holiday was such a waste. The place was filthy, from the rooms and grounds to the restaurants, plates, cutlery, glasses, and bedsheets. Food choices were very limited, with almost nothing for breakfast. Getting food meant waiting in a long, slow queue. There was no kettle in the room, and the drinks were cold. Food hygiene was shocking. Flies were everywhere, and the cold buffet was left out without refrigeration. This is definitely not a five-star hotel.

Our rooms were booked through Love Holidays and paid for from 7 July 2025, even though check-in was set for 8 July. We expected them to be ready. Instead, both rooms were visibly dirty. The bedding and laundry were stained and discolored, nearly black, the toilets were filthy, and the towels smelled damp and unpleasant. Hallways and shared areas were also poorly maintained. We raised this straight away. The receptionist showed us four other rooms, but every one was in the same condition. When we said we would contact Love Holidays, the receptionist dismissively replied, “Then we will wait for it,” and turned away. The manager briefly spoke to the receptionist in Turkish and then left without offering help. We felt helpless and disrespected. We were kept waiting three hours to get into our rooms. Later, when we asked if that lost time could be made up at checkout, staff shouted at us and told us to leave reception. We stayed calm, but they kept raising their voices and ordering us out. There were no other guests at the desk. We were paying guests and deserved some respect and assistance. The whole experience caused us a lot of stress and anxiety, and we feel the booking information misled us. The accommodation was far below an acceptable standard. I can’t call this a five-star hotel, or even say it deserves one star.
