Antas Deluxe Apartments

I wasn’t satisfied with the stay. There was dust everywhere, the dishes were dirty, and the bath had mud and 🕷️ in it. We had no warm water for showers, and the hotel surroundings were very dark at night. The wifi wasn’t good either. It’s far from the city, and although we rented a car, there was no parking space. All in all, it wasn’t good.

I’ve had a lovely stay here for two weeks, and the staff genuinely make the place. EMIR, MEHMET the OWNER, receptionists cansu and the bar lady have been so kind and welcoming. They’ll go out of their way to help. When the air con leaked into our room, Emir showed us three different rooms. Whenever we asked for cleaning, it was done. We had a small ant problem too, but you need to tell them about things so they can sort them out. My three year old adored the staff, and even when they were busy they stopped to say hello. That means more to me than a few Mosquito bites or a comftable bed. I’ve never felt safer in a hotel, and they really made us feel like family. Thank you, ANTAS TEAM. This isn’t the Ritz, but it’s absolutely livable. We cooked a meal here one evening and ate breakfast here most mornings. The pool is cleaned every night, and the staff are honestly nonstop. The internet isn’t great, though I’ve enjoyed the break. The rooms could use some sprucing up, but we were fine for two weeks. Air con is only in the bedroom, so we had to leave the door open to circulate air, which worked out well. The fold-out beds are uncomfortable; one was slightly broken, and Emir spent hours trying to fix it. There isn’t much cutlery or many bowls, but if you let them know, you’ll get some. The bathrooms could definitely do with a redo, though with the economy I’m not sure they can manage it.

The pool and food were good, and we’d definitely recommend the place and come back. Staff were energetic, attentive and excellent. The rooms were clean, and whenever we asked for something, we got it. The kitchen area could use updating. One thing that disturbed us was doors being slammed. People should be shown how to lock them quietly, and reminded to empty the water bottle attached to the A C.

Breakfast was pleasant by the pool, with dogs and cats wandering about, though the choice was limited to Turkish breakfast or toasted sandwiches. A buffet or English-style cooked breakfast might be worth offering, compared with places nearby. Otherwise, I’d absolutely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Antas apartments. The grounds were well kept and nice, the room was clean and in good order, everything worked, and it was cleaned regularly. All the staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived at 10.30PM and were welcomed warmly, with food cooked for us. It’s a 10-15 walk to bus stops and a lively bar, restaurant and shopping area, but the place itself is away from the noise, so it’s quiet and relaxing. I’d read the reviews before staying with my boy, and what I read was wrong. Thanks to everyone for making our stay 100% great. Thanks, Ian and George.
