Bella Rose Hotel

The pool was dirty, breakfast was poor, and the shampoo was like water. During the 5 days I stayed, there was no housekeeping. Staff were unfriendly, including the owner, and the minibar prices were expensive. Before we left, we were accused of stealing towels. This isn't a hotel, it's a hostel.

I had no parking trouble, slept without noise issues, and had no problems with my security equipment. The rooms, bathroom, and toilet were very clean, and the room had a nice balcony. This is an aparthotel, and for the price and what you get, I think it's very nice. I was there for 3 nights on a business trip and needed somewhere nearby. I happened to ask the security staff through my car window, and we made arrangements. I've stayed in both terrible hotels and places that cost $1000 a night. The sisters were kind, noticing I rushed to my car every morning and urging me to stop so they could make sandwiches for me since I never ate breakfast. At reception, a man always tried to help with my food orders and never let me down. He also gave me useful suggestions for clean, good restaurants nearby. I was satisfied, and I thank them.

On the night of September 19, 2020, while travelling, we couldn't find a room at the police station, so they recommended this hotel 200 meters away. It looked more like a hotel than a hotel, and even half-board places offer better service. There were no towels or slippers in the room, so we were expected to wear our own shoes, even in the shower. The minibar was empty and turned out to be just a cupboard. When we asked for water, thinking it had been forgotten, the owner charged us for the two bottles that should have been in the minibar. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom, even though people staying by the sea and pool would need one often. The room key's magnet was faulty, and the electrician kept coming and going all night. There were two of us in a room with a double bed and a single bed, but the owner repeatedly warned us not to use the single bed or mess it up. I thought they might want to give it to someone else without changing the sheets or anything. If that's their attitude during a pandemic, I can't imagine what normal hygiene is like. Breakfast was extremely poor. Stay in a tent, don't come here.

This small boutique hotel was quiet, with a nice pool and friendly staff who were helpful when we had questions. Everything else was fine, but the bathroom and toilet were my one real dislike. There was a smell, and adjusting the water temperature was impossible, either boiling hot or cold. The bathrooms need work. The double bed was also two single beds pushed together, which wasn't good.
