Celeste Hotel

Of all the places we visited while travelling around Turkey in August 2025, this was one of my favourites. The hotel is a good size, and the staff were clearly eager to help, taking care of every request I made. The pool was top-notch too. I'd love to stay here again.

The beach is only a two-minute walk away, and the location was exceptional. The hotel was nice and clean, and breakfast was about what I expected, with fresh food each time. Thanks to Bora, our host, for helping us during our stay.

It was quiet and peaceful, and the location made it easy to get to the beach, shops, and transport. The staff were always around and very helpful when we needed something, and the prices seemed normal. Our room was clean enough, the air conditioner worked properly, and the beds were comfortable. The sheets and pillows could be better quality. Breakfast could use more choice and better quality too, though we still enjoyed what we had. Thanks for the good service.

The room was awful. The whole bathroom smelled mouldy, and there was mould in the uncleaned shower. Whenever we flushed, dirty water came out around the toilet. The sink wobbled badly and seemed to be held in place with silicone for appearances. The hairdryer would overheat or switch off after a few minutes, so it was either wet hair at bedtime or burned hair. The bed covers were yellowed, and when we asked for a clean one, we got a yellowed sheet instead. We also asked for housekeeping, but were told the cleaner was ill and nobody else could clean our room for the next three days. Breakfast was the same every day, with nothing new added. It was bread with salami, butter or jam, plus a salad we had to make ourselves from tomatoes, cucumbers and green or black olives. If you wanted scrambled eggs or an omelet, they said, “maybe next year.” My husband and I were still hungry afterward, so we bought snacks at a shop. When we went to the dining area for a spoon, a man yelled at us to return them, saying we couldn't use them. We asked how we were meant to eat, and he offered plastic spoons. Those broke as soon as we stuck them into the food. I absolutely don't recommend this hotel.
