Gorkem Hotel & Apartments

The staff were fantastic, really helpful and accommodating, and I had a great time. The room was very basic, which was fine, but the bathroom let it down. It's tiny, with a toilet, basin and wall-mounted shower next to the toilet, like a wet room, so everything got wet. A lovely Turkish breakfast is included, or you can pay for a Full English.

I don't get all the complaints. If you want more, pay more. The gardens are nice and well kept, there are cute cats, and the staff are friendly. The room was nice, the shower had good water pressure, and the air con costs extra but is worth it. I had a full English one day and it was amazing. The Turkish breakfast is nice too.

We loved the quiet location, lovely views and staff, and the price is right. It was our first time in Turkey last year, and my wife and I booked again before we left. We can't wait to go back next month. It's not five-star, but it's small and friendly. That people come back year after year says something: my sister has been four times, and others we met have returned even more.

We booked Gorkem Hotel through travel Republic and it was just what we needed for the price. We were out exploring every day and used the hotel as a base, so the basic rooms suited us. The Turkish breakfast is great if you like fruit, cheese and the other items; optional extras are available, and I tried the Full English one day, which was spot on for the money. The pool was great and the facilities were good. It's a family-run place, and the staff were very attentive to our needs, friendly and helpful. It's cheap and cheerful, so if you expect more at that price, that's on you. For a quiet break at this price, we'd use it again. Thanks to the staff and the people we met during our visit.
