Greenway Hotel

This simple, family-run hotel offers basic service and good value for money. The staff are very friendly and ready to help you have a good stay, though their English is basic. I liked the pool area as a place to relax, have a drink, or listen to music. You’ll need a car to get to the Blue Lagoon and Oludeniz beaches. They’re not far, but the hill is very steep.

The room was noisy, with a busy road right beside the hotel and poor sound insulation. There was also a racket from staff downstairs. I was shocked to see the 4-star rating on Google Maps and all the positive reviews. The photos and description are very misleading. When I arrived, two or three staff members were sitting in the dark, drinking cans of beer and smoking. They seemed drunk, were rude and unwelcoming, and I couldn’t see any other sober employees or guests around. The bathroom floor was covered in water and the room smelled strongly of chlorine. The fridge and shower were filthy and mouldy, and the fridge didn’t work. There was no Wi-Fi as advertised. Avoid this hotel!

The pool is lovely, and you can swim in the evening too. The hotel is easy to reach by car, and you can arrange tours and other things directly with the staff. They were the nicest people, and the location is close to the centre while still quiet at night. I’d recommend it!

The owners and staff made me feel at home and looked after guests with activities and good deals, pointing them only to professionals. The location is perfect, about a 20-minute drive from the blue lagoon. Better than any 5-star hotel in the area.
