Pine Forest Hotel

I don't think it could get any better.

The man who checked us in was great, and I have no complaint about him. The rest of the experience was very questionable. At arrival the room felt damp, the floor was dirty, and the lighting was poor. There were stains on the dishwasher and brown marks on the curtains, along with many other cleanliness issues. We let those things go, but six hours after checkout they posted a negative review about us on Airbnb and demanded $120 for marker damage to the bed linen. They said they'd thrown it away without even trying to wash it. We also left our phone in the room, and they said they couldn't find it, even though remote access showed it was there at 10 a.m. Think twice before booking this hotel. 😃

Our stay seemed great until eight hours after we left, when trouble with the manager began. A negative review appeared on the accommodation booking app with no explanation, along with a pile of complaints and an insult after the fact.

For the price, this hotel with a pool is great value. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the sheets were clean and smelled of fabric softener, and the air conditioning worked properly. We were satisfied, though the bathroom and toilet could have been cleaner. Renovating those areas and the furniture could bring it up to five stars.
