Sunset Apart Otel

The quiet neighbourhood was nice, and although there's no private parking, you can leave the car on the roadside outside. The pool looked clean, but it's really very small, and we didn't try it. The complex could be looked after better: there's tall grass and random things lying around, and the trees aren't properly shaped or trimmed. Our room was modern, clean, and had new furniture. A few issues brought the stay down, though. The shower doors were broken so the shower wouldn't close, and there was quite a bit of mould in the corners. Wi-Fi was awful, with hardly any signal in our room and painfully slow internet when it did connect, so we used mobile data. Staff seemed uninterested and weren't very polite. On arrival we felt like a burden, and when leaving they asked for the keys without asking how our stay had been. We understood this was an apartment hotel and didn't expect cleaning, and nobody had mentioned it. There was no sign to hang outside if you didn't want service, but our room had clearly been cleaned on the second day. We wish someone had told us, since we might have left valuables and personal things out. We'd have asked them not to clean, as we were only there for two nights. It was an okay stay, but the little problems added up. The place has potential, but polite staff, decent service, working shower doors, and good Wi-Fi are basic things to expect.
