Hotel Imparator

The food menu is worth a try, and the bar has awesome views. Breakfast was excellent and covered all our needs. I especially recommend the home made jam on toast. It’s a lovely family run hotel. The rooms are clean, basic, and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was brilliant. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Ölüdeniz is beautiful, so I advised my family to give it a try. They stayed at this imparator hotel, but it wasn’t a pleasant experience, though I can imagine it might suit some people. They were charged £4 a day to use the little fridge in their room, then made to pay for a whole week because they needed it. Air con units also cost extra, although they didn’t need one on this occasion. I think the owner is the mama, and she shouts at everyone and makes the rules.

I’m giving two stars for the staff and the work they do to keep the place beautiful. The hotel is clean, the staff are very nice, and the Turkish breakfast is really good. The owner’s family is lovely, so I feel bad saying we won’t come back. But it’s so loud that sleeping is nearly impossible. During the day it’s easier to sleep, but once the sun sets the pool bar turns the music up full blast, and it goes on past midnight. Then people at the bar keep partying until morning, every night. There’s cigarette smoke everywhere, even at breakfast, which is disgusting. A whole holiday without sleep just isn’t acceptable.

We stayed for a week in June 2025. The grounds are pretty, and the pool area was nice and clean. Our room was small but adequate. You can pay locally for a/c, a fridge, and a safe, £4 each per day. The hotel is off the main strip of Olu Deniz, which is a good location. Breakfast had a nice choice of Turkish style food, though some fruit would have been a welcome addition. The family who own the hotel weren’t that friendly. Nights can get noisy if a few people are at the bar, and smokers need a designated section in the dining area.
