The rooms felt too cramped for two people. There was no air in the bathroom because it had no window, and the toilet used an old system that you couldn't flush. I got an infection and became ill. The owner's wife kept asking us to pay for drinks every minute, as if we were going to run away, and made us feel uncomfortable.

I've visited a few times, and the staff have always been welcoming and ready to help. The food is delicious, with a wide menu to suit different tastes. I love the charming, tucked-away surroundings within the hotel grounds. I'd highly recommend it as a peaceful, relaxing place to stay, or just to spend a day in a chilled-out atmosphere.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. We spent the day there with a group and had a delicious afternoon tea. The poolside was a nice place to sit, and there was shade when we needed a break from the sun.

I could happily stay here for months or even years. The place is beautiful and peaceful, with spotless rooms and a gorgeous pool. The people are kind, too. After a boat trip, rain started on our way back, and I worried about my shirts left outside. Housekeeping had taken care of them and put them back in my room. Mr Mehmet, the manager, always did his best whenever we asked for help.

We've been returning to Yakamoz for more than 20 years. The food is always amazing, the staff are fantastic, and the rooms are spotless, all at a reasonable price. The area has changed from open fields to villas and resorts, but Yakamoz still feels like a peaceful oasis amid the tourism in this part of Turkey. We'll be back soon.
