Holiday Village Turkey

We’ve just wrapped up our holiday at Holiday Village Türkiye, and came away with nothing but happy memories. The grounds are lovely and well cared for, and there was a good range of tasty food each day. A special thank you to Gülay. Her cappuccinos were delicious every time, and she made them with real care. She was also kind, polite, thoughtful, and lovely to talk to. You could tell she enjoys her work and treats guests warmly. That made the whole stay feel welcoming. We’d be very glad to return.

The entertainment team really made our holiday at the Holiday Village in Sarigerme. The “Purples” bring so much energy and care, from the Kids’ Club and activities to the evening shows, and they helped make the time memorable for both children and adults. Huge thanks to Chester, Amy, Reece, Alfie, Jordan, Katie, and Jess for their kindness and enthusiasm. We’re taking home lovely memories because of you. The resort itself was great too: loads of food choice, consistently good meals, everything kept very clean, and a beautiful beach. The layout is thoughtfully arranged, so getting around felt easy and relaxing from the first day. Thanks to all the Purples for doing such a brilliant job.

As a family of four, we thought the food was very good. My son especially enjoyed the pool and activities, particularly the ones Chester ran by the pool. Bing Bong Bingo was a lot of fun too. We had a very pleasant stay.

We went into town on the rainy days and ended up having an adventure, even though it rained for two of our days here. We stayed from the 3rd-10th October and had one of our best holidays. The staff were wonderful, still smiling and working hard at the very end of the season. When the rain came, everyone pulled together for hours to keep things dry and safe. Thanks so much to Calum, Twiggy, Fred, and the whole team. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with fresh water each day and strong air conditioning. Food choices were huge, and so much care went into the dishes. The “Omelette Man” sings while cooking, and his omelettes were the best I’ve had. Drinks seemed endless, though I’d pack some Gaviscon. There are activities for all ages. In the first day or two we were offered Turkish massage, scuba diving, horse riding, boat trips, and a family photo shoot. It felt like a lot at first, but they only asked once and then left us to enjoy ourselves. The town is a must for me. Haggling at the markets was great fun, and my tip is not to accept the first price. Clothes and gifts are good buys, but bring essentials from home. Suncream was very expensive, though the hotel’s swap shop helped us manage. The nearby shopping mall was pricey too, so town was better. Hair braiding at the hotel wasn’t great and cost too much, so I’d go into town for that. Floors can be slippery despite the signs, so bring grippy flip-flops. Even the rain didn’t spoil it. Between the staff, rooms, food, and memories, we’d absolutely come back.
