Rose Apart

We’ve stayed in this house before, and the friendly atmosphere and clean rooms keep bringing us back when we travel along the coast for a change of scenery. It feels like a dacha, with lots of greenery, trees, and a pretty courtyard. The owner is always glad to help if we need anything. The sea and a big beach are nearby, and there’s parking. It stays quiet and doesn’t feel too hot even at 40°C, which is noticeable after Fethiye or Marmaris. The airport is close. Across the street there’s a shop selling fresh baked goods and essentials, and a 10-minute walk gets you to several supermarkets, a pharmacy, the Sunday fruit market, and more.

We spent five days here and enjoyed the short walk to the beach and pedestrian zone. Bread and groceries were easy to get just across the street. The owner was kind and helpful, and even let us eat fruit from the garden. The rooms were clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. When something was missing, he helped us out and made the place feel warm and welcoming. A lovely quiet spot for families, and a great location.

For €20 a night, I found it a little expensive for what it was. Still, it’s in a handy spot, about 500 meters from the beach, and guests can pick fruit from the tangerine, orange, and lemon trees.

The owner, Mr. Süleyman, is especially kind and friendly. The place is clean, with tasty food and a peaceful garden setting that has a village feel. I highly recommend it.
