Casia Cave Suites

We spent so many mornings and evenings on the different terraces, and loved the authentic, pretty decor throughout the hotel. The rooms were incredible too. Osman, the owner, went out of his way again and again to help with whatever we needed, and replied very quickly by text. One thing to know: the hotel is next to a mosque, so the call to prayer about an hour before dawn may wake light sleepers. We enjoyed hearing it, especially since it was time to get up for the balloons, but bring earplugs if you’d rather not.

Set in the central part of town, the hotel is within walking distance of shops, a supermarket, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable, with most of them in caves. Breakfast was very nice, with a variety of local food to try, and the place works well for all kinds of travelers. If you want advice about day trips, ask the management, they have their own travel agency and offer good service and prices. We’ll definitely visit this wonderful hotel again.

The owners and staff were warm and welcoming, and treated us like family. Right after my wife and I checked in, just after breakfast, they invited us upstairs and cooked us a fresh meal. The room was magnificent for the price, and they were always willing to help with things like calling a taxi. It’s a genuinely warm, family-run business. A couple of improvements: a vacuum would help with the fine bits of rock from the old cave stones, and an ironing board in the room would be nice. Still, five stars.

At Casia Cave Suites, they made us feel important and special. They supported us throughout and managed to meet every wish, even the less convenient ones. They also arranged breakfast for exactly when the balloons fly, in the most beautiful spot. I wholeheartedly recommend them!
