Ortahisar Cave Hotel

I first stayed at Ortahisar Cave Hotel in 2018, when I got my Grade 12 results, and coming back seven years later felt special all over again. The real cave rooms are spacious and very clean, and the bathroom alone is as big as a normal hotel room. Mine had a jacuzzi. In the center of the hotel there's a lovely sitting spot, like a cozy open café. The location is peaceful but close to everything, and they make it easy to arrange balloon rides or other tours. Breakfast is simple but good, and the service is excellent. Pure magic, and I'll be back.

The hotel itself is good, and breakfast was okay, with the usual Turkish dishes you find at Turkish hotels. The noise was the problem: customers could be loud from around 5 or 6 in the morning, and sometimes cars pulled up right by the door and honked.

The team made this a stay I'll remember fondly. Aladdin was one of the angels who helped me feel at home right through to departure. He was patient, served guests wholeheartedly, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. The chef was hardworking and full of energy, serving us with real passion, and the food had a good range of choices. The rooms were spacious and clean, with unusual decor, and the cleaners were friendly. I'm back home with lovely memories and will always speak well of the hotel and its staff. Booked through our agency in Bulgaria, we arrived to a very friendly welcome. Our cave room was really big and had a bathtub. It was clean and well organized, and we got fresh towels and bath accessories every day. The owners made sure we had proper breakfast and dinner, and there was plenty of great food. The hotel is near the city center and has all the accommodations. It was an awesome experience.
