The concept and setting are really lovely, and I have no complaint about that. But the details made for a bad stay. The sheets were covered in hair and lint, so we asked for clean ones. The replacements had other stains, and I slept badly. We were also told our pool would be heated, but it never warmed up. They sent us to the neighboring pool and said it had been fixed, but that one was still cold too, so we couldn't use ours. Breakfast was another letdown: the person who took the reservation said it was included, then called in the morning to say they don't usually serve it that day. They did put something together, but it was stale bread and just a few breakfast items. There are much nicer places to stay.

Our winter night at Maui Sapanca became a wonderful memory because I proposed marriage there. The place feels lovely, private, and intimate, and everyone involved made us feel welcome. I expected the pool to be cooler, so I thought I'd just dip in and get out. It was so warm that I couldn't bring myself to leave. That warmth isn't just from the heating system, either. Mr. Mevlüt's kind heart and sincerity are part of it. They even bring breakfast to your room in the morning. What more could you ask for if you're after a different kind of experience?

We really liked our stay, and you can bring your own food and drinks from outside. The room, beds, and toilet were spotless, which mattered to us. We went in February with my wife and our 11-month-old, and had worried the cold might be a problem. Before we arrived, the owner heard we had a baby and put an extra heater in the room along with the air conditioner. It was incredibly warm when we got in. We switched the heater off, and the air conditioner warmed things up even more. I recommend it.

The owner was very nice, and the staff were friendly and understanding. We felt like guests there, and we'd definitely like to come back. The management is excellent, and the landscaping and building we stayed in were both lovely. The concept is beautiful too, much better than a typical bungalow.

Green all around, with a natural, peaceful feel that made for a genuine experience. The houses were very clean, and the pools were especially warm. The owner was friendly and cheerful, and the attention and care were top-notch. Congratulations, and thank you, Maui.
