Ibrahim, the owner, made our stay memorable. We talked for hours about life, culture, and stories that reached well beyond Urfa, and his kindness and wisdom have stayed with me. Berat, our local guide, brought plenty of charm and laughter to exploring Urfa, too. From the moment we came through the old wooden doors, Mahmud was there with a genuine smile and help whenever we needed it. Turkmen Konagi feels less like a hotel and more like a home full of good people. We left Şanlıurfa with lovely memories and new friends.

The hotel's staff and manager Ibrahim were quick to help, and the food was excellent. We were very happy with our choice and grateful to everyone there. We came to Urfa hoping to experience its ancient history, so staying in the authentic Turkmen Konagi Hotel suited us well. It's a medieval caravanserai in the heart of the eastern city, among narrow winding streets, and it felt like stepping into "One Thousand and One Nights." The central location made it easy to reach the main amenities on foot. In the room, though, facilities were limited. There was no hot water, and that also meant no heating, although they did provide heaters to help. Cleanliness could have been better in both the bedroom and bathroom. I found breadcrumbs on the nightstand and construction debris under the sink. Izzet Ö.

The host was friendly, and breakfast was nice. The location was good too. There was a language barrier, but it didn't cause any real problems.

The courtyard was lovely, and the view from the rooftop was excellent. Our rooms had an authentic style, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good and the room price was excellent. The location is fantastic, just metres from Balikgöl on what feels like a medieval street. There's no parking available. I'd stay here again.
