Euphoria Aegean Resort & Spa (Halal Hotel)

The staff were friendly and worked hard, but there were too few of them, and maintenance had clearly been deferred. Hygiene was poor throughout the hotel. It was hot everywhere, with nowhere to cool off. The air conditioning didn’t bring rooms below about 27°C, even after we reported the problem several times. It seemed to be a general issue, and many people complained. The food tasted good, but the choice was limited compared with other five-star hotels and was almost the same each day. There weren’t many options outside the restaurant either. The pastry shop was terrible and wasn’t even cooled. There were also few activities. The outdoor pool uses saltwater, and the slides were rough on you. It’s a shame. It apparently used to be a VIP hotel, but now it feels like a sham, nice on the outside and bad inside. It isn’t worth five stars. I wouldn’t recommend it. Spend a little more for a more comfortable holiday.
