We came to the cafe, not the hotel. My daughters wanted waffles, and we wanted coffee. The one person on duty was taking orders, making coffee, and handling the till, so he was swamped. He was still as kind as anyone could be under that much pressure. I asked for a macchiato, but got something with far too much milk and chocolate syrup. It was overly sweet, and I hadn’t asked for syrup. I usually drink my coffee without anything sweet and just wanted two espresso shots with a drop of milk. I didn’t send it back since he was alone, busy with other customers, and we were waiting for the waffles. My coffee cost much more than my wife’s Turkish coffee, which she said was fine. I should have gone with a good old Turkish coffee.

The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. We felt at home the whole time at İncitta Hotel during our trip to İzmir. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel, but the staff’s sincerity and kindness are what made the stay so memorable. The two ladies working there were both welcoming, friendly, and caring, almost like family. We’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting İzmir. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
