Mystic Konak

Şirince was a town we really loved, and the location and terrace here were nice. The house has an old-fashioned, rustic feel, and the staff were kind. They offered welcome tea and coffee, though I didn't like the coffee. We paid quite a bit for a stay that left us exhausted, and I can't recommend more than perhaps one night for someone who can sleep through a lot of noise. Our ground-floor room was by the entrance, so we heard people talking as they came in and walked past. Noise carried from upstairs and outside throughout the night. We could hear conversations, footsteps and toilet flushes, and even the couple in the room above having sex woke us. Earplugs didn't help. We stayed four nights, and the lack of sound insulation made getting proper sleep impossible. The room also smelled damp and musty and wasn't clean. There were stains on the walls and sheets, peeling paint, and a bathroom that leaked. Hot water was limited, enough for about two short showers shared among however many rooms there are, so cold showers were common. The low door, about five feet high, was a serious problem for me as a tall person. I left with a concussion after hitting it. I can usually manage old-style accommodation, having traveled around 50 countries, and some of these things were tolerable on their own. A bit of salt damp treatment, better cleaning, thick carpets upstairs and insulated windows could make the rooms more comfortable without making this a five-star place. I'm sharing this as constructive advice for fellow travelers to help them choose their holidays, not to be deliberately negative. I understand it isn't a five-star property.

We loved how helpful and attentive the owners and staff were. The room was roomy, cozy, and had an authentic feel, with plenty to do nearby and a very central location. Everything was lovely, thank you!

Şirince is such a beautiful, charming village, and the hotel was in a peaceful spot there. My room was clean and matched what I'd booked and expected. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.

We only stayed one night, and it was lovely. The pension is beautiful and cozy, and our hosts were warm and welcoming. Whenever we had a question, they were happy to help. They also suggested Poseidon for wine tasting, which we thought was the best place. If you're visiting Sirince, this is a great place to stay. From Cristian and Ana.
