The only positives for us were the breakfast waiter, who was somewhat nicer, and the restaurant’s location. The rest of the experience was stressful and disrupted our holiday. We had booked a sea-view room based on beautiful photos, but got a dirty room facing a wall. When we raised it, we were told we could leave if we wanted, with no help or compensation. Since it was late when we arrived, we had to stay. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and didn’t speak English. The one person who did speak English said it wasn’t their fault and that she had given our room to a walk-in customer because we checked in at 5 p.m. Loud sounds came and went through the night, perhaps from a water pump, and made sleep almost impossible. You also can’t park near the hotel, so there’s about a five-minute walk with your bag. The rooms look nothing like the photos. Staying here was unpleasant, and I’d say don’t waste your time.

The breakfast was awesome, and the people were really nice. There are only three rooms, and your beach beds are kept available all day, so there’s no need to rush to claim one. The location was perfect for me and my friend, even though there may be cheaper places. There are some downsides: they don’t even take out the trash unless you ask, and music from downstairs can get noisy. Bar cleaning goes on for two hours after midnight, which also makes noise. If you have trouble sleeping, this may be a bad choice. Otherwise, it was perfect for us.

I can’t comment on the rooms since I didn’t stay at the hotel, but the restaurant was great. There were four of us, and everyone ordered different dishes and cocktails. Every one of them was fantastic, and we practically licked our plates clean. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

The setting by the water is beautiful, and the music is always well chosen, whether it’s live, a DJ, or a playlist. My group and I tried what must have been all the signature cocktails. They make some of the most successful original cocktails I’ve tasted, and the best negroni I’ve ever had.
