Giritumu B'Yaz

The only part we really liked was the beach. We came to B'yaz because a friend recommended it, but after arriving we found there were just two accommodation options. Breakfast is served on the beach, where one option is located. The other is up on the street, with no sea view. Nobody asked us which we wanted, and we were assigned the street-side option. The room was cramped, and the hotel looked nothing like its photos. Parking was another problem. The hotel has a car park, but staff and restaurant guests could use it while there was no space for hotel guests. On arrival, a staff member said we could park wherever we wanted. Then, at midnight, someone needed to leave and we were told to move the car. We had to park on the street, where it was scratched. They also said bed linens and towels would be changed after three days, which is a long time for a hotel. Apart from the beach, we left with no positive impression.

The location and pier at B'yaz Hotel are nice, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here. Room cleaning is only done every three days because of water shortages. In the summer heat, towels come only every three days, and the sheets aren’t changed at all. We were told on the phone there was parking, but finding a place for our car was difficult. The owner parks his own car in the lot instead of giving customers priority. Twice, in the middle of the night, we had to call to get our car out after leaving it outside. We wouldn’t have minded parking outside, but Selimiye’s narrow streets have had hit-and-run incidents that caused damage.

We had a wonderful, unforgettable stay at Giritimu B'yaz. The thoughtful service and warm hospitality really stood out. We enjoyed breakfast by the sea, time relaxing on the beach, and delicious appetizers at Giritimu Meyhane in the evening. Thanks for all the effort, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The pier is beautiful and spotlessly clean, and having dinner at Giritimu was a real pleasure. We had a lovely mother-daughter holiday, with clean, quiet rooms, and we were very happy with our stay. A special thank you to Ms. Yeşim, who was so sweet and sincere and helped us however she could. This is the place I’ve been most satisfied with on our holiday so far. You can stay here in Selimiye with complete confidence. 💖
