Legend Hotel Ayvacık

We had a really nice experience. The service was excellent, and everything was clean.

A great place.

The view is fantastic, and it's so quiet in the morning and evening. We stayed one night as two men, though, and the first room had one bed and a sofa. When we asked about it, we were told the sofa opened up. The parking lot had only our car, the lobby and corridors were being repaired, and we hadn't seen anyone around, so we pushed back. They then gave us another room, luckily. In the morning we took our bags downstairs, planning to have breakfast before checking out. The lobby was full of workers again. Reception said the chef would arrive at 9, and when we asked what we could eat, the man offered to prepare something but said there was no bread. We were surprised, so we just had tea and left. Hopefully they're getting things ready for better days.

The view and location were lovely, and the breakfast was carefully made, clean, and really tasty. The smiling women who prepared it deserve thanks. I also appreciated Ms. Hilal at reception, who was humble, cheerful, and helpful. I'm picky and usually don't feel at ease in hotels, but this room felt like home as soon as I walked in. It was clean, smelled wonderful, and had spotless towels and sheets. There were a few small shortcomings in the room, but I won't take points off for them. I chose the hotel after reading reviews, and it surpassed what I expected. I'll definitely come back.
