The pool was good, and we enjoyed the entertainment. Our standard room with pool access worked well overall, with morning sun until about 1 pm, though its pool felt a little cold because it didn’t get much sun. The relax pool swim-up rooms are more basic and have a much smaller pool, so I wouldn’t recommend those. We were disappointed by the atmosphere. We’re in our late 30s, while most guests seemed around 70, and we hadn’t realized the resort was about 90% German. It just wasn’t our kind of place. Food was okay, but the selection was fairly limited, probably because it’s a small hotel. Most staff were nice, but reception weren’t very helpful. Drinks were okay too, though the cocktails weren’t a high standard. I’m not sure who gives out the stars, but I’d call this a four-star place on a good day.

We spent seven days at Commodore Elite in January. The rain lasted our whole stay, but if I had to spend a rainy week somewhere, I’d pick this hotel again. The drinks and food were generous, and excellent value for what we paid. The service was the real standout, especially from the waiters and cleaners. One waitress saw us coming to dinner and had our usual drinks on the table by the time our food arrived. Our room was left in great shape every day, too. I loved having plenty of space at the gym and spa, both lovely places to unwind. We’re in our 30s and were among the younger guests, but the hotel felt welcoming, and the entertainment suited all ages. The dancing was a highlight. One man spun for three straight minutes, which really impressed me. Best value for money I’ve ever had.

My sister and I stayed for a weekend, three nights from 1 May, and we’d happily return. Everything felt lovely from arrival to departure, especially the staff. Every person we met was friendly, approachable, and glad to have us there. The hotel itself was a treat. I’m sure there are glitzier places, but what mattered to me was how comfortable we felt. We were smiling the whole stay. Our twin room had two single beds, and they were among the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel. There was even a pillow menu. The room had what we needed for a relaxed break: a stocked bar, snacks, a huge TV with English channels, a spacious toilet separate from the walk-in shower, and a strong shower with an adjustable head. The food was tasty, with lots of choice and plenty of flavour. Drinks came to the table with a smile. A few microwaves around the hotel would be a useful improvement. There’s also a coffee shop with all sorts of coffees, teas, juices, shakes, cakes, cookies, and ice cream. The grounds are beautifully cared for, and the hotel is right on the beach, so there’s no long walk or shuttle. Beach service, lots of loungers, fridges around the resort for guests to help themselves, and a beach bar with food and snacks were all handy. It’s adults only. I’m happy with a flop-and-drop kind of holiday, so the quiet lack of activities suited me, but someone wanting more to do might find it a bit slow. There’s a gym and a lovely spa, with towels and gowns included. The area is fairly quiet, with a few shops along the strip, but nothing like what we saw in Marmaris. Would I go again? A huge yes. Thanks, Commodore Elite, the name is well deserved.

I’ve stayed here about six or seven times and I’m going back in April and October because it’s that good. The food is really good, and the staff are always keen to help. They cater for everything you need, and the beach is fantastic.

We’re already planning another trip. The spa is fantastic, and I’d highly recommend the Turkish baths and massage. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the food is amazing, and the staff look after you so well. It’s the most amazing hotel we’ve been to.
