The owners look after a lot of cats, and the leafy garden has a peaceful, small-town feel. They were lovely to talk to, helpful with suggestions, and felt like an uncle and aunt to us. Breakfast was delicious and impeccable, while the beach, shops, and plenty of restaurants are only a five-minute walk away. Our room was cozy and comfortable, if a little small, and had everything we needed. Whenever we asked for something, like toilet paper, they brought it right away. The only drawback was the thin walls. You can hear the room next door, so noisy neighbors could make it less pleasant. With quiet neighbors, and if you’re quiet too, it’s fine.

We found Motel Himalaya by chance and ended up staying four nights instead of the three we’d planned. The owners were super friendly, and Güvan helped us with everything we needed. We had good chats even though we don’t speak Turkish. The garden was cozy and quiet, the place was clean, and the rooms were small but nice. Breakfast was really tasty, and it was good value. We’d be happy to come back anytime.

Celal bey even took us hiking in the hills, which was a lovely surprise. He and his wife are wonderful hosts who do a lot to make you comfortable. The guesthouse has clean rooms and a lovely garden, and both the beach and town centre are within walking distance. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon!

The owners are very caring, and the garden is a lovely place to rest. But the hotel’s thematic design seems to come with a big downside: you can hear a lot from the neighboring rooms.

I really enjoyed my vacation at this lovely, unique hotel in agva. It has great access to the sea, and the manager and staff were friendly. I’d recommend staying here to young couples.
