We paid a 1500 TL deposit on a 3000 TL reservation. When we arrived, they told us there'd been a fire, the electricity was out, and they were closed. They said they'd return the deposit on Monday. The trip there had already been a hassle, and the refund turned into a fiasco. We asked for the money Monday evening, but they put it off and said we should have reminded them during the day. We followed up Tuesday morning and got an “okay,” but heard nothing that evening. When we called, someone said they'd speak with accounting and get back to us, then didn't. Later they called to say their car wasn't with them and they'd go to an ATM to deposit the money once it arrived. At midnight, they sent only 1000 TL, not 1500 TL. We're still short on the refund and have been strung along for two days. They didn't answer when we called, but picked up from another number and said they couldn't talk because they were in a meeting. They keep telling us not to worry and that they'll deposit it. A business shouldn't make customers chase them for money they're owed. This was an unreliable, indifferent, and irresponsible place. I absolutely don't recommend it. I expect the full refund!!

At the invitation of the owner, Mr. Kemal, I visited Ağva Tias Waterfall Hotel, set on a lush 5-acre plot by the Göksu River. You can choose between bungalows and hotel rooms. Though it's only 1.5 hours from Istanbul, it feels like a different world, surrounded by nature. Waking up to birdsong and fresh air was one of the nicest parts. There was time to relax by the pool during the day, then enjoy dinner and live music beside the river in the evening. The Göksu view and music made for a memorable atmosphere. I also really enjoyed the meals. Breakfast had around 10 fresh, thoughtfully prepared items, from jams and cheeses to warm bread and egg dishes. Chef Oktay's evening meals exceeded my expectations for both taste and presentation. The staff's warmth and attentiveness made the visit feel like home. Ali, Behzat, and Sevgi were welcoming, always there, and seemed to anticipate what we needed. Thanks as well to the owner, Mr. Kemal, for his kind hospitality. Ağva Tias Waterfall Hotel offers a peaceful nature break with genuinely warm hospitality. I recommend it to anyone looking to get away from city stress for a short weekend. Mr. Kemal welcomed us at check-in, and the staff greeted us with smiles. Their attentiveness and the hotel's food and setting all got full marks from us. It's a lovely choice if you want to get away from city noise and unwind in nature. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast by the stream was a special experience, with organic products and jams, and the evening meals were delicious. There was chicken wings, drumsticks, meatballs, potatoes, pasta, and more.

The weekend turned into the worst holiday of my life. It started at reception when we were told the room's air conditioner was broken. Then the jacuzzi turned out to be faulty and kept leaking. They sent someone to check it, said we'd caused the problem, and it happened again. Half an hour later it flooded once more, so they moved us to another room. When we switched on the jacuzzi there, it was filthy and full of insects, as if it hadn't been used in years. We lost four hours and complained, so they gave us a third room. That one felt damp, and we didn't even try the jacuzzi. At night, scary noises came from the walls and we couldn't sleep. Then the electricity went out. You could have a better holiday in a tent, honestly.
