Dachas Cove Hotel

Dachas Farm Houses sits beside the Ağva River, with 22 farmhouses, each designed with its own charm. They really do look like little storybook cottages. The peaceful setting is a chance to reconnect with nature, and the meals use fresh produce grown right on the property. The restaurant food was great, the pool was very clean, and we had a lot of fun with all the different animals. The people were friendly too. We came as a couple for two nights to get some quiet in nature away from the busy city. Our room had everything we needed and was cleaner than I expected for a house near the jungle and rivers. Seeing a few insects at night is normal for a place like this. The rustic, vintage, bohemian design had lots of thoughtful little details. The thing that bothered me was the restaurant’s 10% service fee. I only realized from the comments here later, and at this nightly price I wouldn’t expect it.

I was shocked when we arrived, especially after being reassured by the good reviews. We stayed two nights with my husband and our two adult children, but the tiny house we were given looked nothing like the photos. It was very old and dirty, and missing a lot. There was no room cleaning, not enough tissues, and we had to bring our own. The sheets and towels had stains. My son ended up sleeping on the floor beside the bathroom. The restaurant charged a 10% service fee even though orders arrived very late. I’m sharing this so others get an honest picture of the place.

We still enjoyed our time there, even though we’d expected more for 8.450 TRL a night. That’s not cheap compared with similar places. We liked the location by the river, the view, the food, the place itself, and the service. Getting there by car with Google Maps was a real challenge, though. It kept routing us through another resort called “216 North Suite” as the only way to reach it.
