We’ve stayed in much nicer places along the Turkish coast, and this one didn’t feel worth what it cost. The photos set high expectations, but the hotel felt a long way from luxury. The mountain view included power lines and a road right beside our room, and the pool was closed. We booked two nights and regretted it almost immediately. The room didn’t feel clean, and housekeeping never came, though the bed itself was clean and comfortable. We had an outdoor spa, but staff rushed to clean the area when we arrived. They seemed to use it for cigarette breaks, and the balcony still had cigarette ends and other rubbish even though it had been washed. We had a reservation, so they knew we were coming. That was poor service. The spa was small, though it worked for us. Taller people might find it disappointing. The staff tried to be friendly, but seemed inexperienced and uncomfortable speaking English with foreign guests. With better upkeep and staff training, this could be a really nice stay.

The room's bonfire was a lovely touch, and the staff were friendly. The food was good, though dinner could use a slightly better menu. I had a great stay and would come back. Teşekkürler

The music in the corridors was loud enough to disturb us, even late at night. We mentioned it to reception several times, but it kept playing. Still, the place felt cozy and peaceful, and we could walk to the town center. The balcony was huge and had an amazing view, with easy access to the lake and a perfect spot for pedalling. The staff were friendly and helpful, though communication was difficult. They also managed to fit us in at the last minute.

At $170 per night, I expected guests to feel more welcome. The staff were friendly one-on-one, but didn’t seem to know how to make visitors feel at home. There were no promotions or room upgrades offered, even though we were booking several rooms as a family. The hotel may be in a tourist area, but no one at reception could speak a language other than Turkish, and communication from management through the front desk was a problem. I couldn’t sleep on my pillow because it looked very clearly as if it hadn’t been washed after the previous guest. I do think this was probably the best hotel on that same street compared with the others nearby.

The location is central, with everywhere easy to get to. My wife, children, and I had a good one-night stay: the room was clean and well equipped, and the staff were nice and cooperative. If we're back in the area, I'll stay at Escape Hotel again. Special thanks to Irgan and Engie.
