The cheese platter worked well for two, though I thought it could use a little more of the extras, especially nuts. We really liked the restaurant's atmosphere, and the service was good. The staff also knew their wine and explained it well.

We had a really nice weekend here and enjoyed the hotel and restaurant. Lovely place, and I'd definitely recommend it 🫶

The food was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel also has a nice view and a relaxing area for a vacation. But there were several problems: the AC would switch off at night for no clear reason, and reception didn't answer when I called. The electricity was sometimes cut, too. Dining was only available outside, as they don't have an indoor dining area.

Breakfast was especially delicious, and the staff made us feel welcome. You can eat at tables beside the river, with a lovely view from this cozy hotel. There's live music every day except Monday. The internet connection was very poor, though, and the rooms could have been cleaner.

The grounds have quite a lot of stairs, so they may be difficult for older visitors or people with walking disorders. We stayed in two Queen rooms, and the amenities were satisfactory. The hamam, sauna and jacuzzi were all clean and working, and staff lit the fireplace whenever we asked. We visited in mid october, when there were so many seasonal bees that they became a nuisance, though I don't think anything could have been done about it. It's a calm spot for a weekend, with excellent food and service, and we'd recommend it for a peaceful vacation.
