Artemis Motel

Artemis 1 is on the main road, and Artemis 2 is behind it. Both are close to the sea and markets, and families seem to favor the place. I stayed in Artemis 1, which had a sea view. The manager was friendly and helpful, and there’s a large gazebo where guests can eat or hang out. The beds, one double and one single, were comfortable, though there weren’t enough pillows and the ones provided were too flat. The room also had two air conditioners, a TV, a large refrigerator, and a gas stove. One air conditioner was dusty and blew dust. The room and furniture felt neglected and old, and it had only been superficially cleaned before I arrived. The narrow kitchen counter, limited utensils, and lack of a dishwasher were drawbacks. There was no hot water in the evenings, so we showered with cold water. I had booked ahead, sent a deposit, and paid the rest in cash, but the preparations weren’t adequate. Check-in was at 12:00 PM and checkout at 10:00 AM, with a fee mentioned for late checkout. The pool is at Artemis 2 out back, and it wasn’t big enough for the number of guests. Its hours, 10-12 and 15-18, were inconvenient for families on holiday.

We were really pleased. It was clean and hygienic, close to the sea, and the staff were helpful. I’d recommend it :)

There was a modem, but the internet still didn’t work, not even on the balcony. The signal was too weak, and the general equipment was broken.

We ended up here for two nights with the family because we couldn’t find another room. The bathroom, toilet, and sink were completely unhygienic. There was fly blood and dirt all over the curtains, and the sofas were so disgusting that sitting on them would put anyone off. The bed was dirty and dusty too. I’d give it zero if I could. I don’t recommend it.
