The room with a sea view was nice, and the owner was friendly and helpful in many ways. Hotels in this area generally seem to need renovation.

❗This 5-star rating is only to draw attention to the review❗ After the earthquake, the state placed us and our children in this guesthouse while we were badly traumatized and confused. Its letter to the relevant institutions clearly said they should accommodate earthquake victims and that expenses would be covered. Even so, we felt unwanted throughout our stay, rather than welcomed as guests. The manager kept trying to make us leave, pressuring us with comments like, “I’ll send you to the municipality’s tents.” Using the washing machine became a problem too, and we were warned we’d have to pay for repairs if it broke. Staff repeatedly came into our rooms to insist we turn off the air conditioners because of the utility bills. Earthquake survivors need understanding and a sense of safety, but we were left anxious the whole time. I’m sharing this so others who might end up in the same situation know what to expect. Don’t go there, even if you have to, let alone pay to stay. I hope no one has to face this. If you do, come to Antakya. Our doors are open to everyone.

The view is really lovely, and the staff are attentive. The building and rooms are old, so keep your expectations modest. I’d still recommend it.

There’s no beach at the hotel, but it has a pier with lovely places to sit, the kind of spots other hotels often reserve as private cabanas. It’s a peaceful setup for a relaxing stay. The sea is a beautiful sapphire color, and you can choose between swimming there, using the pool, or walking to the public beach. Ayaş market and the public beach are both about two minutes away on foot, and prices at the market aren’t high. It feels like a daily rental right by the sea, with a kitchen as well as an on-site restaurant. The place was clean, and the staff were very friendly. I really enjoyed it, thank you!
