Loca Butik Hotel

It's a clean, comfortable hotel at a reasonable price, in a quiet spot at the end of the peninsula. Breakfast was filling, and Mr. Can at the front desk was very attentive, thank you. The one thing I'd add is a kettle in the room.

Breakfast was a mess, with packaged items, badly cooked fries that were blackened and still underdone, and self-serve tea. When we left, we tried to confront the woman, but she didn't say a word or even say goodbye. I've never experienced such indifference and was really disappointed. We booked on a recommendation after discussing everything in advance. We specifically asked Mr. Can for a room with a view, and he assured us he'd find one on a higher floor. We arrived around 11:30 at night, and a woman handled our payment and took us to a room right by the entrance. She said the other rooms were full and there was nothing she could do. She was incredibly rude. We were completely let down.

We were only there for one night, and GPS gave us a lot of trouble finding the hotel. Mr. Can from the staff patiently guided us over the phone. There are triple rooms, and ours was clean and spacious. Breakfast was adequate, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking wasn't an issue, but getting around is difficult without a car. The hotel is a bit far from the city center.

We spent two days there, but no one asked whether we needed cleaning or anything else. They could at least have stocked the large cupboards with spare supplies. A friendly face by itself isn't enough. My wife and I booked after seeing how nice the place looked from outside, but once inside we noticed so many shortcomings that we wished we'd paid another 2,000 or 3,000 to stay elsewhere. We only saw one staff member, and yes, that person was friendly. But our room had no sheets for the duvet, no pillow covers, and no spare tissues by the sink. There was no room service at all. Even to buy a drink, you had to go downstairs to reception. Breakfast was included, but it wasn't appealing. When we asked about drinks, we were told to get them ourselves from reception.
