Yelken Pansiyon Sinop

Yelken Pension is hard to beat. I've paid more for places in Cappadocia, Samsun, Izmir, and Kayseri, and this was much better value. Everything, from the ironing board to the colander, had been thought of. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were spotless, the owner was a polite gentleman, and the staff were exceptionally kind. I've stayed in plenty of places, and this is an experience you won't regret. Many thanks to the owner for taking such care with his work.

The owner is a gracious gentleman, and the staff were friendly. We arrived early because we'd misjudged our timing coming from Izmir, but they kindly let us check in ahead of schedule. We stay in Sinop twice a year and have tried many places. This was the cleanest one I've stayed in, with the same thought put into the kitchen and the rest of the house. It felt like home, especially for those traveling with children. Even little touches for different guests were included, from rakı glasses to a prayer rug. We were impressed and look forward to coming back.

I don't like staying in the city center, and this location suited me perfectly. There was no noise or parking trouble. The two-bedroom studio apartment was warm, spotlessly clean, and arranged with care for every need. Highly recommend it.

We stayed in room 7, which had a very good view, though not every room does. It was very clean. The one drawback was the lack of mosquito screens on the windows. Part of our holiday was very windy, so we couldn't eat on the balcony, probably because it was the end of August. The view was beautiful, though.
