Nautilus

We had a great time eating dinner and spending the day by the sea. The food was super delicious, and Anil and his family were incredibly kind and caring.

The honey mustard shrimp and roasted eggplant with labneh mezze were standouts, and the octopus hot starter, a famous regional dish, was amazing too. We found the presentation, portions, flavor, and value all spot on. Nautilus Söğüt is one of the area's best for both taste and presentation, with friendly, helpful staff. Book early if you'd like a table by the sea. Highly recommend it, and thanks for everything.

We just ate at the restaurant, and the whole visit, from the welcome to saying goodbye, was very good. It's a family-run place, with the father cooking the mezzes and his son handling communication and service. Try to reserve one of the tables right by the sea;) The calamari, salad, and their special yoghurt and aubergine mezze were tasty. We'd definitely go again if we visit Sogut.

The sunset views make an evening here amazing, and the restaurant itself is spotless, with colourful flower beds and herbs all around. The food is freshly cooked to order by Anil's father. There's no written menu, as is customary in Turkey, but Anil is happy to explain the options, including the day's catch. We always found plenty of hot and cold meze. This year we had locally caught lobster and red snapper, lamb cutlets and kebabs, and pide, a bit like pizza. It's a delightful family-run place and our favourite restaurant in Soğut again, with freshly prepared food served outdoors in a superb spot on the waterfront. Anil speaks excellent English, and he and the whole team give you a genuinely warm welcome. Everyone is friendly and happy to help. They were also incredibly patient and encouraging when I tried a little Turkish!
