Nova Plaza Park Hotel

Breakfast was disappointing, with very few choices, poor food quality, and some dirty plates and utensils. The room wasn’t clean either, and housekeeping was poor, with items not being replaced. Even for basic things like paper cups, we had to go to reception ourselves. The room was also too warm because there was no cold air conditioning. We asked room service several times, but got no help. Staff said the system only provided warm air and told us to turn it off and open the window if we wanted a solution. I don’t recommend staying here, and hope they improve the service, cleanliness, and food.

For a four-star hotel, there weren’t many facilities. We booked with parking, but at check-in they said there was no parking and still charged us the parking fee. The rooms had no toothbrushes, glasses, or slippers. When we told the reservation staff, they said leaving those items was against the hotel’s rules.

Even though I reserved a king-size bed, I was given a room with two separate beds and told the hotel was full. The reception staff were impolite and unhelpful. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the drainage didn’t work, so after showering the bathroom and part of the room flooded. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had.

The staff were friendly, and reception arranged a same-day fix when we said the AC wasn’t cooling properly. One kind staff member also showed us to the room and helped with our bags. The central location near Taksim Square was another plus. Housekeeping needs work: towels weren’t changed unless we asked, and toilet paper was only supplied on request. The bathroom sink was unbelievably small, barely big enough for washing hands. One bed leg was broken, so the bed wobbled whenever we got on or off. And if you care about the view, this place isn’t for you.
