The staff were kind and ready to help, and the place had a warm, authentic feel that made us feel welcome. A great hotel, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tarsus!

The service was impeccable and always came with a big smile. They even adjusted breakfast to suit my diet, and I could park for free just behind the hotel. It’s a peaceful place, tucked within a two-minute walk of the historical center, with very reasonable rates. The recently renovated stone villa has lovely wooden stairs, floors and ceilings, handwoven carpets, and a plant-filled inner courtyard. I’ll definitely return to this history-filled city and stay here again. Thanks for a memorable visit.

I slept really well here, thanks to the AC and the quiet location. My room was at the top of the stairwell, but I rarely heard other guests. The hotel is right in the town center, just one block off the main street, and has a nice patio for breakfast. Tarsus may not be the most exciting place, but if you visit, stay here!

After six nights at Burhanoğlu konağı, I’d happily stay again. We’d first booked another hotel but couldn’t stay because of the awful cigarette smell. We found Burhanoğlu Konağı on Google, liked the reviews, and luckily a room had just opened up. Walking in felt like stepping back in time. We grew up in the old town and knew its traditional Tarsus houses well, and this place has been restored beautifully with stone walls and timber roofs. I was especially glad to see the green Sharon fruit tree in the courtyard, which I thought had disappeared completely. The rooms, decor, carpets, and staff were all amazing. It’s right in the center, with everything we wanted to see within walking distance.
